New Delhi: The trailer of Mindy Kaling’s show 'Never Have I Ever' Season 4 was released on Tuesday. The final season of the coming-of-age comedy show, starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, will drop on Netflix on June 8, 2023.

The trailer shows Devi in her final year of school, aiming to get into Princeton University. Her old love Paxton (Darren Barnet) is also seen re-entering her life. As Devi prepares herself to deal with a final year at school, she realizes, "I am not ready to say goodbye yet."

As the show is quite popular, the fans quickly reacted to the trailer. A user wrote, "I'm so proud of show creators who know when to gracefully end a show and not stretch it for too long and make the plot awful."

"Big Fan Of This Series.. Really very excited but also sad cause this is the last season," wrote another user.

A fan of the show wrote, "Will miss devi and her crazy antics! So glad the show got a final season tho. Will be worth it."

The show follows the story of the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl. Maitreyi essays the role of Devi in series who is an overachieving high school student and has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.

The show also stars Darren Barnet, Poorna Jagannathan, Megan Suri among others.

'Never Have I Ever' is mostly narrated by professional tennis player John McEnroe for Devi, with the latter often showing flashes of McEnroe's legendary temper. Three of the episodes were narrated by Andy Samberg for Ben, and another by Gigi Hadid for Paxton.

The streaming show is created by executive producers, Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, with Fisher serving as the showrunner.
