Netflix Release: Bobby Deol’s Digital Debut ‘Class Of 83’ And Other Titles To Look Out For Next Week
Netflix Release on 21st August: Bobby Deol is set to make a comeback and a digital debut on August 21st with the film Class of 83. And there are two other new releases to look forward to on Netflix.
New Delhi: Class of 83 is set to release on August 21st, 2020 on Netflix, which will be a huge comeback for Bobby Deol after a career slump. Aside from Class of 83, The Sleepover and Season 5 of Lucifer are other big titles to look at for Friday releases on Netlfix.

Class of ’83 – Bobby Deol’s big comeback and digital debut is produced by Gauri Khan, Shah Ruk Khan and Gaurav Verma. The crime drama is based on true events and book ‘The Class of ‘83’ by Hussain Zaidi, it follows the cop Vijay Singh (Bobby Deol). The Netflix synopsis reads “A hero policeman shunted to a punishment posting as the Dean of the police academy decides to punish the corrupt bureaucracy and its criminal allies in return by training five lethal assassin policemen. But, like all good plans, it only works for a while until the fire that he has ignited threatens to burn his own house down.” Anup Soni and Joy Sengupta will perform alongside Bobby Deol.
The Sleepover – Directed by Trish Sie, the comedy-drama stars Sadie Stanley, Maxwell Simkins, Malin Åkerman, Ken Marino, and Joe Manganiello. The film synopsis is “In this family adventure-comedy, Clancy (Sadie Stanley) and her kid brother Kevin (Maxwell Simkins) discover that their seemingly normal stay-at-home mom Margot (Malin Åkerman) is actually a former high-end thief in the witness protection program. When both their mom and dad (Ken Marino) are kidnapped and forced to pull one last job with an ex-flame of Margot’s (Joe Manganiello), the siblings must team up to rescue their parents over the course of one action-packed night that they’ll never forget.” Trish Sie has also directed Pitch Perfect 3.
Lucifer – This beloved series is returning with Season 5 with 16 episodes, and have been divided into two parts of 8 episodes each, Part One will be released on Friday. Lucifer is a demon who returns from hell to reside in Los Angeles and runs a club. He soon gets involved with the local police and assists them in solving tricky criminal cases. In Season 5 Part One fans may finally know where Lucifer and Chloe’s relationship will go.
