Dahaad Becomes India’s First Web Series To Premiere At The Berlin International Film Festival

New Delhi: ‘Dahaad’ starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in the lead, has been selected for the Berlinale Series Competition. The show is set in a small, sleepy town in Rajasthan. An 8 part, slow-burn crime drama that follows Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues at the local police station unravel a curious case.

Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati is given the case after a number of women's bodies are discovered in unsolved murders in public restrooms. At first glance, the murders seem to be suicides, but as more information becomes available, Anjali starts to fear a serial murderer is at large. As she races to solve the case and prevent the murder of another innocent lady, she engages in a fascinating game of cat and mouse with the seasoned criminal.

Announcing the same, actor Vijay Varma posted two snapshots from the series writing, “We starting 2023 with a glorious news! #Dahaad ’s roar echoes through the #Berlinale as it becomes the first Indian webseries to premiere at the festival."
