New Delhi: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is all set to marry actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9. The couple's family members have already left for the wedding which will take place at the Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. With the wedding festivities beginning from December 7, the bride and the groom will reach the wedding destination by 9pm on December 6.

As the actor's siblings squad get ready to accompany her on her special occassion, we bring out some lesser known facts about the actress and her family members.

Born in Hong Kong, Katrina is a British actor of Indian descent. The 'Sooryavanshi' actress was born as Katrina Turquotte. She grew up in multiple places before moving to London. Katrina's father, Mohammad Kaif is a Kashmiri while her mother, Suzanne Turcott is of British origin. 

Katrina's mother is a lawyer and an active social worker. In an interview taken long time ago, Katrina had revealed that her parents got divorced while she was very young. She along with her siblings was brought up by her mother and her father had no influence over them while growing up. His father had moved to the US post his divorce and Katrina had hardly met him since. Katrina totally credits her mother for bringing her up.

According to several reports, the 'Sheila ki jawani' star has a fairly large family of seven siblings comprising of six sisters and one brother. Her elder sister, Stephanie Turquotte is a very private person. Katrina's elder brother Sebastian Turquotte is the second child of the family. Sebastian has also been spotted with the actress prior to her wedding shenanigans. He is a furniture designer and an adventure junkie.

Katrina's third sister Christine Turquotte is a homemaker. Her fourth elder sister, Natacha Turquotte is a jewellery designer. 

Katrina proudly speaks of her fifth sister Melissa Turquotte, a scholar and mathematician who has also won the prestigious Laing O' Rourke Mathematics Award at Imperial College in 2009. Her sister Isabelle Kaif is also trying to step into her elder sister's shoes and venture into Bollywood. The youngest of the Kaif tribe, Sonia Turquotte is a photographer and a designer.
