‘The Family Man’: Manoj Bajpayee Shares First Look Of The Second Season; Says ‘Bahot Hua Intezaar’

New Delhi: The critically acclaimed web series ‘The Family Man’, fronted by the talented actor Manoj Bajpayee tells the story of a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer who tries to protect the country from terrorism while concurrently focussing on the protagonist’s unsettled family life. Inspired by real-life newspaper articles, this show has been created by the director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Fans have been waiting for the second season eagerly ever since the announcement was made. Well, the wait is finally coming to an end as the lead actor Manoj Bajpayee released the first look of ‘The Family Man’ Season 2 on his social media. In the poster, a picture of a time bomb waiting to explode in 2021 can be witnessed. Sharing the poster, Bajpayee wrote, “Bahot hua intezaar. Aapke liye new year ka tohfa laaye hai. Zara dhyaan se kholna. #The FamilyManOnPrime”

Amazon Prime Video also shared the poster and wrote, “Don't know about the timer here, but we're exploding with excitement @BajpayeeManoj @sharibhashmi @Samanthaprabhu2 @shreya_dhan13 @SharadK7 @SrikantTFM #Priyamani #TheFamilyManOnPrime”

A source informed PTI that the second season of ‘The Family Man’ will release on February 12, 2021. The new season will also witness Samantha Akkineni in a pivotal role. It will see Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi reprising their roles along with Priya Mani and Sharad Kelkar. Along with keeping up with a high-pressure job and keeping his country safe, Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) will also be seen juggling between his role as a father and a husband.
