'Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai' Actor Randeep Rai To Join Shivangi Joshi In 'Balika Vadhu 2'
Randeep Rai will be seen opposite Shivangi Joshi in 'Balika Vadhu 2'.
New Delhi: Colors TV’s ‘Balika Vadhu’s is all set to take a generation leap soon. The makers of the show have decided to introduce the new track to spice up things. Earlier in the day, we informed you that Shivangi Joshi will essay the role of grown-up Anandi in the social drama. Joshi, who is fondly known for playing Naira in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, will be seen in a different avatar.
Shivangi left ‘Yeh Rishta’ after Rajan Shahi introduced a generation leap in the show. While ardent fans of the show are missing her presence, the actress will now entertain the viewers as Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu 2’.
Can you guess who will be paired opposite her? None other than Randeep Rai.
According to a report in Times Of India, the makers of ‘Balika Vadhu’ have signed the talented actor for the role of Jigar. Randeep will step into the shoes of Vansh Sayani, who plays Jigar in the show.
Randeep became a household name after essaying the role of Sameer in ‘Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai’, which went off air in 2019. He will return to the small screen with the second season of ‘Balika Vadhu’.
On the professional front, Randeep was recently seen in 'Pavitra Rishta It's Never Too Late'. The web series starred Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh in lead roles. Shaheer stepped into Sushant's shoes and played the role of Manav.
The web series is available for streaming on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji. Randeep was seen as Shaheer's on-screen younger brother.
