Harshad Arora & Rhea Sharma APPROACHED for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ spin-off?

New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets with its entertaining and drama-packed episodes. The daily soap, despite completing over 10 years, is doing quite well on the TRP charts. The show starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi has jumped to the number three spot in the latest set of BARC TRP ratings.  YRKKH, which has turned out to be a huge success for the channel and the makers, is the longest running Hindi daily soap on Indian television. (Source- web) As per the latest buzz, the makers are all set to come up with a spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Rajan Shahi under his home banner Director's Kut Productions will bring YRKKH’s spin-off. The makers of the show have already started casting, and the upcoming daily is expected to go on floors by next month, the report added. Rhea Sharma, who was last seen in ‘Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji’, has been almost finalized to play the female lead in the show, the report in Tellychakkar said.

The makers are also in talks with Harshad Arora to play the male lead. The ‘Beintehaa’ actor, who was last seen in ‘Mayavi Maling’, is currently busy shooting for Zee 5’s web series- ‘Final Call’.
