Producer of 'Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai' & 'Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke', Rajan Shahi is grief-striken as his father is no more.

New Delhi: Star Plus' 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Shivangi Joshi & Mohsin Khan in lead roles of 'Naira' & 'Kartik', is one of the most-loved and successful shows on small-screen. 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' producer Rajan Shahi, who has also given memorable shows including 'Bidaai' and 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', is grief striken as his father is no more. As per reports, Rajan Shahi's father breathed his last in the morning hours on Monday, April 20, 2020. As per news reports, the producer’s father was suffering a prolonged illness and had a heart attack, which cost his life. For the uninitiated, Rajan Shahi's father lived in Delhi and he shifted to Mumbai a year back. This is indeed a tough time for Rajan Shahi and his family. Here's hoping that he gathers the strength to cope up with the loss. May his father's soul rest in peace! The show completed 11 years in January this year and is still among the top-rated shows. Whereas, 'Yeh Rishtey...' recently completed an year and is among the top 10 TRP gainers. His new show 'Anupamaa', featuring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey', is expected to hit the TV screens soon. The much-awaited show was supposed to replace 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum' in March but got stalled due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic and the eventual lockdown.
