'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' Lead To EXIT Star Plus' Show Due To New Track?

New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. The daily soap stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the respective roles of Naira and Kartik. The show has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their TV sets with its drama-packed episodes. The old episodes of ‘YRKKH’ have fetched good numbers for Star Utsav as per the latest TRP ratings. Ardent fans of the show are eagerly waiting for the resumption of shooting so that they can see their favourite characters back on the small screen. If a recent grapevine is to be believed, Shivangi Joshi’s journey in ‘Yeh Rishta’ will end soon. According to a report in an entertainment portal, the talented actress will exit her show and another actress will step into her shoes. The makers have a different plan for ‘YRKKH’ post the lockdown, the report added. According to the new storyline, a new actress will enter ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and the makers will build Kartik’s equation with her. Shivangi’s character will gradually get sidetracked, a source told SpotboyE. Shivangi Joshi and Rajan Shahi haven’t reacted to the rumours yet.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, which has successfully completed over 3000 episodes, is one of the longest-running shows on Indian television. Hina Khan and Karan Mehra played the respective roles of Akshara and Naitik for seven long years. Shivangi plays their on-screen daughter Naira in the much loved show. Interestingly, Naira will get a new look in the show post the lockdown. The channel dropped a hint regarding the same on social media. Check it out!
