"How Can Patel Leave The Show!?" -Original 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Cast Member Shocked To Know Chaitanya Choudhary Is The New 'Raman Bhalla'!

'Mihir Arora' of YHM, actor Raj Singh Arora was shocked to know that Karan Patel has quit and getting replaced by Chaitanya Coudhary as the new 'Raman Bhalla' post his exit

'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will soon have a new male lead as Chaitanya Choudhary plays 'Raman Bhalla' replacing Karan Patel in the popular show after about 6 years of it's run on Star Plus. He will soon enter the show playing Divyanka Tripathi's husband 'Raman' and we already revealed to you how that is going to happen involving the push from the cliff and plastic surgery[DETAILS: See Chaitanya Choudhry's FIRST LOOK as NEW Raman Bhalla!]. YHM is also ending in the coming months due to the low TRP issue. While the 'Ishra'(Ishita Bhalla and Raman') fans are unhappy over Karan's exit from the show, here's a former member of the cast who too cannot digest it and nor the off-air news. Raj Singh Arora who played Mihir Arora(Shagun aka Anita Hassanandani' brother) in the show for first 3 years, has just learnt about the latest developments in it and he is left totally shocked. Raj was interacting with media at the launch of 'Sanjivani 2' which stars Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna in the lead while Mohnish Bahl reprises his 2002 original role of Dr. Shashank Gupta in the reboot version. When Raj was asked to react on YHM going off-air and the new 'Raman Bhalla', he jumped in shock. He said - "yaar ye mujhe.. ek minute.. sunne mei aaya hai.. Karan Patel is not in the show?[asks very dramatically] So how is YHM yhm then? Patel aur Divyanka ke bina i don't know[scratches forehead]...but then i guess it's the fag end of the show and we have to kiss it goodbye."

Karan had quit the show to participate in Rohit Shetty's 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10' and we just showed you his pictures along with Karishma Tanna, Shivin Narang, Adaa Khan & other celebs from the Mumbai airport as they fly off  to Bulgaria for KKK 10 shoot[See Here!]. A journalist informed Raj about Karan's nex show and the actor adds- "Patel KKK Bigg Boss mei bhi aa jayega but...that's different! But.. has he actually he has left the show?[again finds it difficult to believe] He is off-air? I haven't watched YHM in 2 years. Yaar that's like very very strange.. i mean how can patel leave the show?". However he wasn't surprised to know that the show will soon stop telecasting as he was unhappy with the storyline that changed three years after YHM's launch. Raj explained how the "first ever educated show based on a book" deviated because the makers were made to telecast it for extended weekends too and airing a show 7 days a week is what disturbed the strong track of the show. For the unversed, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is partially based on Manju Kapur's novel, 'Custody'.

Raj was on the show from 2013 to 2016 playing Mihika Bhalla's(Ishita's sister played earlier by Mihika Verma & later replaced by Avantika Hundal) husband. The original cast members still bond well and the onscreen couple Raj and Mihika are buddies too. Mihika who gave birth to her first child, a son, with husband Anand Kapai last year is settled in the US and Raj the traveler caught up with her some time back. YHM: Mihir aka Raj & wife Pooja Gor's day long fun with 'old' Mihika & hubby Anand in US; Went around Boston eating & riding subway! Raj quit the show in 2016 while Mihika got replaced by Avantika after she got married in real life. And now the original 'Raman Bhalla' is set to leave the show. The new 'Raman' aka ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ fame actor Chaitanya, confirming the news, had told Tellychakkar a week ago - "I am privileged to be a part of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. I have a lot of gratitude towards Balaji Telefilms, as I started my career with them. Today is my first day of shoot, and I am really excited to work with the team. I know comparisons will happen, but I hope fans accept me as Raman. Undoubtedly, Raman is the most popular and acclaimed character, and people have a lot of attachment with the role, but I hope I live up to the expectations.
