Actors Shweta Tiwari and Vishal Aditya Singh recently became the subject of online chatter after fake images portraying them as a married couple started making rounds on social media. Vishal, however, has addressed the controversy with an air of amusement, brushing off the situation with humour.
Vishal Aditya Singh's reaction to the fake image
In a conversation with India Forums, Vishal revealed that he found the morphed images entertaining rather than upsetting. "Yes, I saw the pictures, too, and honestly, all I can do is laugh," he shared during the interview.
On his relationship with Shweta Tiwari
The actor also dismissed the need to clarify his relationship with Shweta, saying that the truth of their bond speaks for itself. “I don’t need to explain my relationship with Shweta because people will think whatever they want to. Shweta and I know the truth about our bond; why should I care about others’ opinions? Everyone who knows us understands that I call her ‘mom,’ and we share a great bond. These viral pictures don’t bother me; they just make me laugh,” he added.
The photos in question depict Shweta dressed as a bride and Vishal as a groom, seemingly posing as a married couple. Upon closer inspection, it appears their faces were superimposed onto images of actress Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmad from their wedding.
This isn’t the first time speculation about Shweta and Vishal’s relationship has surfaced. Their camaraderie and playful social media exchanges have previously sparked rumours, despite the actors maintaining that their bond is strictly platonic.
