New Delhi: In a surprising turn of events in the world of politics, Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the position of Punjab Congress Committee Chief. Earlier today, the news of his resignation broke out after the former cricketer shared his resignation letter to Sonia Gandhi on his Twitter.
Navjot Singh Sidhu shared his resignation letter that read, “The collapse of a man's character stems from the compromise corner. I can never compromise on Punjab's future and the agenda for the welfare of Punjab. Therefore, I hereby resign as the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. I will continue to serve the Congress.”

Well, apart from being a politician and former cricketer, Navjot Singh Sidhu has also been very popular when he appeared as a judge in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. After his decision to say goodbye to the show to totally focus on his political career, the makers of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ roped in Archana Puran Singh as the judge of ‘TKSS’.
Ever since Navjot Singh Sidhu’s exit from the show, Kapil used to tease Archana Puran Singh about Sidhu’s comeback into the show. Now, after Navjot Singh Sidhu’s resignation from the position of Punjab Congress Committee Chief, netizens sparked a meme fest on Archana Puran Singh on the microblogging site.
Archana, who is very active on social media, shared a series of memes shared by the netizens and wrote on Instagram, “I Meme Myself. Kissa Kursi Ka”.
On a related note, Kapil Sharma, in his latest interview with RJ Nishant during an episode of Fever FM's Bounce Back Bharat Festival, revealed that he was asked to lose weight to host ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.
