'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' Actor Dilip Joshi Brings Home A New Luxury Car

New Delhi: Television actor Dilip Joshi popularly known as 'Jethalal' of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' bought a brand new car on the occasion of Diwali, this year. The actor brought home a subcompact SUV priced from Rs.12.29 lakh. Pictures of the much-loved actor posing with the new car have gone viral. His family members can also be seen beaming with joy.

The car's model is powered by the latest evolution of UVO, offering 58 smart ways of staying connected. UVO's advanced technology includes AI voice command, voice assisted sunroof control, OTA map dates, making the driving experience safe, convenient and enjoyable. 

Dilip Joshi has been bringing to screens the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' since 2008. Despite being the lead actor in the sitcom, he likes keeping things very low-key. Talking to ETimes TV in an interview, the actor said that he is happy playing the character of Jethalal for now. Although the actor has been offered several roles, he is willing to explore the digital world later on. 

The actor, who is mostly known for portraying comic roles has also featured in serials 'Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh', 'Shubh Mangal Savadhan', 'Hum Sab Ek Hain' among others. He has also appeared in cameos in the Salman Khan blocbuster movies 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'.
