Bidaai Fame TV Actress Ssara Khan Tests Positive For COVID-19; Opts For Home Quarantine

TV actress Ssara Khan, famous for her role of Devi Poulomi on &TV's Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein, has been found to be positive for the novel Coronavirus.

New Delhi: Just a few days back, it was reported that few actors and crew members from the sets of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' has contracted the novel COVID-19 infections, forcing the shows to come to standstill again for some time. As per the latest development, famous television actress Ssara Khan, famous for her role of Devi Poulomi on &TV's Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein, has been found to be positive for the novel Coronavirus. The actress herself informed about the unfortunate news on her Instagram account earlier today. "Unfortunately today I have tested positive for coronavirus!! Authorities and doctors instructed to quarantine at home!! Feeling fine and wishing for the speedy recovery (sic)," Ssara Khan said in her Instagram post.

According to the several media reports, the actress is doing fine and has opted for home quarantine. Reacting upon the news, several television actors and celebrities including Jay Bhanushali, Jayati Bhatia, Kishwer M Rai, Raj Kundra poured in messages wishing the actress speedy recovery. Sara, who currently plays the role of Devi Poulomi on &TV's Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein, rose to fame with her Star Plus daily soap Sapna Babul Ka - Bidaai. Later, she made it to the limelight after winning the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha.. The Bidaai actress had also participated in other reality shows such as Bigg Boss 4 and Nach Baliye 6.
