'Will Try To Become...': Shehnaaz Gill's Brother Pens Heartfelt Post After Sidharh Shukla's Death

Shehbaz Badesha penned a heartfelt post for Sidharth Shukla after attending his funeral.

Mumbai: It’s hard to believe that a talented artist like Sidharth Shukla is no more with us. The popular TV actor, who enjoyed a significant fan following, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday (September 2). He was 40.

Several Bollywood and TV celebs mourned his untimely demise on social media. Sidharth’s fans have not been able to come to terms with his death. They gathered outside Mumbai’s Oshiwara crematorium to catch the last glimpse of their favorite star.

Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha penned a heartfelt post for Sidharth after attending his last rites. He tweeted, “Mera Sher. You are always with us and you will be always. Will try to become like you. It is a dream now and this dream will come true soon. I will not say RIP because you are not. Love you.”

Shehbaz, who entered the 'BB 13' house as Shehnaaz's connection, also changed his display picture on Instagram. He unfollowed several accounts from the photo and video sharing platform. He is currently only following Sidharth and Shehnaaz's handles. 

Shehnaaz Gill, who shared a close bond with Sidharth, also attended his last rites. Her brother Shehbaz supported the singer-actress as she was crying inconsolably after Sidharth’s death.

Sidharth Shukla’s Career

The TV heartthrob became a household name after playing the role of Shiv in Colors channel’s ‘Balika Vadhu’. His chemistry with Pratyusha Banerjee grabbed several eyeballs for the social drama. He later went on to play the lead role in ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’. The show also starred Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin.

Shukla made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The film starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan managed to perform well at the box office.

Sidharth’s popularity touched new heights after participating in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Be it his fights with Asim Riaz or chemistry with Shehnaaz Gill, the actor remained in headlines throughout his stint in the show. He lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘BB 13’ by beating Asim, Shehnaaz and Rashami in a star-studded finale.

Sidharth was referred as the ‘King of reality shows’ as he won ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 7’. He also participated in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6’ and hosted few seasons of ‘India’s Got Talent’.
