New Delhi: The makers of Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ are all set to launch its spin-off- ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. The upcoming show will star Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles. The channel has released a promo featuring Rhea as Mishti and fans are eagerly waiting for the show to go on air. Speculations were rife that Star Plus will axe ‘Ishqbaaaz’ or shift the show to a new time slot to accommodate ‘Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke’. Yeh Rishta..' The ratings of Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor starrer ‘Ishqbaaaz’ haven’t seen much rise post the generation leap and hence gossip mills were buzzing with the rumours of the showing getting replaced by ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. A report in an entertainment portal has squashed the rumours of ‘Ishqbaaaz’ going off air. The channel is still contemplating on the final call regarding the time slot for the spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, the report said. “The channel is still mulling over what time slot to give to Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke but it is definitely not planning to axe Ishqbaaz nor there is any plan to move Ishqbaaz’s time slot as of now,” a source told Pinkvilla. Talking about ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, the show will also stars Ritvik Arora, Sangeeta Kapure, Rupal Patel, Deepak Gheewala and Chaitrali Gupte in key roles. The cast and crew of the show recently organised a hawan ceremony before kick-starting the shoot.
