'Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji' Actress Sejal Sharma Commits Suicide, Meera Deosthale & Donal Bisht REACT

Meera Deosthale and Donal Bisht expressed shock over TV actress Sejal Sharma's suicide.

New Delhi: TV actress Sejal Sharma, who was seen in Star Plus’ ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’, committed suicide on Friday (January 24) at her flat in Mira Road, Mumbai. Sejal’s death has sent shock waves across the industry. Bollywood and TV actor Kushal Punjabi had also committed suicide last year. Sejal, who played the role of Simmi Khosla in Jasmin Bhasin starrer ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’, was found hanging at her residence in Mumbai. The actress reportedly ended her life because of depression. According to a report in PTI, Sejal left behind a suicide note, in which she said that she took the drastic step because of personal reasons.

Meera Deosthale, who is currently seen in Colors TV’s ‘Vidya’, shared a heartfelt post for Sejal on Instagram. The ‘Udaan’ actress posted a photo with Sejal along with the caption, “Sejal, May your soul rest in peace. My friend decided to end her life today and I am Shocked to know that a person who was always smiling and happy was suffering through depression. I wish u would have reached out to anyone and we could have helped u... sending u love and prayers.”
