'Maa Vaishno Devi' Actress Preetika Chauhan Released On Bail In Drugs Case After Arrest By Mumbai NCB

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) probe into the narcotics angle that emerged in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death led to a wider investigation on the consumption and selling of drugs by people in the entertainment industry. Mumbai Zonal Unit of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Preetika Chauhan and a person named Faisal on October 25 as 99 grams of marijuana were seized from their possession. A court in Mumbai has granted bail to both today. This 29-year-old TV actress is reported to be originally from Himachal Pradesh. She studied B. Tech and appeared in a 2016 film titled 'Jhamela'. The actress has also been a part of popular shows like 'Savdhaan India' and 'CID'. However, Preetika is more well-known for her roles in mythological TV serials. She played Bhudevi in ​​the Star Bharat serial 'Jai Maa Vaishno Devi'. Prior to this, she played the role of Devi Shachi in the TV serial 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman'. The actress was last seen as portraying Mata Parvati in the TV serial 'Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein'.
