Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2' was launched with much expectations last month during the Dussehra week. Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rupal Patel and Mohammad Nazim reprised their respective roles of Gopi, Kokilaben and Ahem in the new season of the show. Despite boasting of popular names, the show has witnessed a drop in its ratings after staring on a great note. Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben Modi has made her exit from 'Saathiya 2'.  Ardent fans of the show are unhappy as the actress will no longer be seen in the daily soap. Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is fondly known for her role of Gopi Bahu, has also shot for her last episode on November 11. If a recent report in ETimes is to be believed, the last episode featuring Devoleena and Nazim will air on November 23 on Star Plus. Yes, you read that right! The track focusing on Modi family overshowed Desai's track and hence, the channel and the makers decided to only concentrate one one track, the report. It remains to be seen if the exit of the popular actors impacts the show or not. 'Saathiya' 2 stars Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar in the respective roles of Gehna and Anant. The show was launched on October 19 at 9pm slot. The new season of 'Saathiya' replaced 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', which featured Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea in lead roles. 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' created a lot of buzz after Yashraj Mukhate's rap video went viral on social media. He turned one of the scenes from the show into a hilarious rap and it hogged all the limelight for several days. The makers decided to strike when the iron was red hot and they launched the new season . The first season went off air in July 2017 after a seven-year successful run on the small screen.
