'Naamkarann' Actor Zain Imam Undergoes COVID-19 Test, Results Out

'Naamkarann' fame Zain Imam, who will be next seen in 'Poison 2', has tested negative for COVID-19. He took a test after 'Poison 2' co-star Aftab Shivdasani tested positive for Coronavirus.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani took to social media to inform his fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He shared a long post on his Twitter and Instagram handles and requested the people, who came in contact with him in recent times, to undergo a Coronavirus test. TV heartthrob Zain Imam was shooting with Aftab for a project in Lonavala. The ‘Naamkarann’ fame actor underwent a medical test after the ‘Hungama’ star was diagnosed with COVID-19. He added that he is taking all precautionary measure after his co-star tested positive for the virus. The ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ actor also informed that he tested negative for COVID-19. He added that he would get an antibody test done in a couple of days. The talented actor said that he informed his parents after he tested negative as he didn’t wish to see them worried. “Yes, I have tested negative. However, as a precautionary measure, I am still not stepping out because preliminary COVID tests aren’t always precise, because sometimes symptoms take time to develop. So, as a responsible citizen, I am not going out unnecessarily. Although I am absolutely fine, I will get the antibody test done in a few days,” Zain told Times Of India. He will be next seen in the web series ‘Poison 2’, which will beam on ZEE5.
Several TV celebs including 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' actor Parth Samthaan, Mohena Kumari Singh, Shrenu Parikh, Rajesh Kumar had tested positive for COVID-19. They have now successfully recovered from the virus. Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri also tested positive for novel Coronavirus. She is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.
