Aftab Shivdasani Tests Positive For COVID-19, Will Stay Under Home Quarantine

Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani shared a post on social media to inform his fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani took to social media to inform his fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Hungama’ actor revealed that he underwent a Coronavirus test after he developed minor symptoms including dry cough and fever. He added that he would stay under home quarantine as per the advice of the doctors and authorities. He also stressed on the importance of social distancing, wearing masks and using sanitisers. The talented actor shared a post on his Twitter and Instagram handles to inform everyone about him getting diagnosed with the virus. "Hello everyone, hope you all are fit and fine and are taking care of yourselves. Recently I started showing minor symptoms of a dry cough and a mild fever and I got myself tested for COVID-18. Unfortunately the results came out positive and under the medical supervision of doctors and the authorities, I have been advised home quarantine," Aftab said in a statement. "I request all those who may have come in contact with me recently to please get yourself tested just to be safe. With your support and good wishes, I will recover soon and be back to normal. I can't emphasise more the need to socially be distant, use masks and sanitisers as much as possible as it can save lives. We will win this together," he further said. Check out his post!
Aftab Shivdasani and his wife Nin Dusanj became parents of a baby girl last month. The 'Kya Kool Hai Hum 3' actor had shared a cute post on social media to announce the arrival of his first child.
The 'Grand Masti' actor recently shared a video with his daughter while taking a stroll with the little munchkin. He wrote, "Walking with Heaven."
On the professional front, Aftab Shivdasani will be next seen in ZEE5's 'Poison 2'. The web series will be available for streaming from October 16, 2020. Bollywood couple Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora recently tested positive for COVID-19. They are also observing home quarantine. Several tinsel town celebs including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Genelia D'Souza, Kanika Kapoor have recovered from the virus after testing positive.
