‘Naagin 3’ Actor Pearl V Puri Arrested For Allegedly Raping And Molesting Minor Girl

Pearl V Puri has been allegedly accused of raping a minor daughter of one of his own fellow female artists. The victim then informed about this to her father who then lodged an FIR against Pearl V Puri with the Waliv Police.

Mumbai: Popular for his roles in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Naagin 3’ and ‘Bepanah Pyaar’, television actor Pearl V Puri has been arrested by Waliv Police from the Vasai area on Friday (June 4, 2021). The actor has been arrested for allegedly molesting and raping a minor girl.

Pearl V Puri has been allegedly accused of raping a minor daughter of one of his own fellow female artists. The victim then informed about this to her father who then lodged an FIR against Pearl V Puri with the Waliv Police.

Waliv Police registered a case under section CR IPC 376 AB, r/w POCSO Act 4, 8, 12, 19, 21 and arrested the accused immediately.

A report in ANI read, “Television actor Pearl Puri has been arrested by the Mumbai Police. He was arrested in Vasai in connection with the rape of a minor. A case has been registered under Section 376 of IPC & POCSO Act: Mumbai Police”.

Television actress Anita Hassanandani came out in support of Pearl V Puri after the news of his arrest broke out. She shared a picture with Pearl and wrote, “Woke up to some nonsensical news bout @pearlvpuri I know him! It is NOT true ... canNOT be true.... all lies. I’m sure there is more to it. And the truth will be out soon. Love you”.

Anita and Pearl shared the screen together in ‘Naagin 3’. They also featured together in a music video ‘Peerh Meri’.

Pearl started his career with a supporting role in Sony TV’s ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat’. He however gained recognition when he featured in Ekta Kapoor’s popular show ‘Naagin 3’.
