Fans of Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui are thrilled about the possibility of a future partnership after the two recently posed for a selfie at the Indian Premier Street League.
New Delhi: Fans of Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui are thrilled about the possibility of a future partnership after the two recently posed for a selfie at the Indian Premier Street League. The stand-up comedian has now responded to the Bigg Boss winner and fellow YouTuber receiving bail in the snake venom case.
Munawar Faruqui responded to a paparazzo's question regarding his thoughts on Elvish receiving bail by saying, “I know how it feels. Good news hai (it's good news). So I'm happy (for Elvish).”
Munawar is no stranger to court cases and arrests, as he stated. After more than a month, he was freed from Indore Central Jail in 2021 after the Supreme Court granted him bail in a case involving allegations that he had offended religious sensitivities.
On January 1, 2021, Munawar and four other individuals were taken into custody in response to a complaint made by Eklavya Singh Gaud, the son of BJP legislator Malini Laxman Singh Gaud, alleging that during a comedy act at an Indore café on New Year's Day, offensive remarks regarding Hindu deities and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were made.
Elvish Yadav Snake Venom Case
Six days after Elvish was taken into custody in a drug case, a Noida court on Friday granted him bail. In relation to their investigation into the possible recreational use of snake venom at parties he hosted, the Noida Police detained Elvish on March 17.
Yadav was one of the six persons mentioned in a formal complaint (FIR) filed on November 3, 2018, at Noida's Sector 49 police station, following a complaint by a People for Animals (PFA) representative. The other five defendants, who are all snake charmers, were taken into custody in November but are now free on bond.
On November 3 of last year, nine snakes, including five cobras, were recovered from the possession of the five snake charmers, who had been nabbed from a banquet venue in Noida Sector 51. Additionally, 20 millilitres of suspected snake venom was seized. Yadav was not in the banquet hall, according to the police, and they were looking into his involvement in the case involving the alleged recreational use of snake venom.
