MTV Ace of Space 2: Salman Zaidi Announced As The Winner In Grand Finale!

'MTV Ace of Space 2' contestants Adnan Shaikh and Baseer Ali end up as first and second runner-up respectively.

It was an epic, dramatic and a memorable end to this journey! With enthralling tasks, dramatic fights, twists, turns, brewing relationships, starry appearances and changing equations, 'MTV Ace of Space 2' witnessed a beautiful end to the grand finale. One of the most popular contestants on the show, Hyderabad-based Salman Zaidi emerged as a winner after battling it out against the shrinking walls and fearsome challenges, beating the other 5 finalists. Mastermind Vikas Gupta also announced social media star Adnan Shaikh and ex-Roadies fame Baseer Ali as the first and second runner up respectively.

Spanning over 73 days, the show had remarkable growth as a one-of-a kind reality show with audience support pouring in large numbers. From a popular gay model to a national award winner to handsome hunks to an ex-Roadie, the show welcomed people from all walks of life coming together under one roof. At every step, the contestants passed through multiple challenges, physical and mental meted out by Mastermind Vikas Gupta, to make their way up in the game And as they say, all that glitters is not gold! However, the grand finale of 'MTV Ace of Space 2' was all things gold and glittery, packed with breathtaking performances of the contestants, gags, and much more. This star-studded finale saw famous names from Bollywood and TV such as Neil Nitin Mukesh, Adah Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Harleen Sethi, Amrita Rao, Tejaswi Prakash, Shantanu Maheshwari and Sidharth Nigam. Hailing from the beautiful pearl city Hyderabad, Salman, a boxer by profession has always followed the ‘never back down’ attitude’. He witnessed an incredible journey in the Mastermind’s house, amidst the many ups and downs. He also grabbed eyeballs for his much talked about equation with actor Krissann Barretto as they expressed their love for each other on national television. It will be interesting to see what the future has in store for him! On winning the show, Salman said, “The feeling of winning is amazing and beyond words. I’m thankful to my fans and family- inside and outside the house, this win wouldn’t have been possible without them. This competition was theirs and this trophy is dedicated to them. I love each one of them and couldn’t be happier winning for all my near and dear ones.” Social media star Adnan Shaikh, who become a rage in the virtual world, especially amongst the youth, witnessed an eventful journey in the season and was announced as the first runner up in the show. A wild card entrant, Adnan won everyone’s hearts in a short span of time. Another Hyderabadi lad, Baseer Ali, who rose to fame with 'Roadies' and 'Splitsvilla', was announced the second runner up in the finale. Baseer, since day 1 in the house, grabbed many eyeballs for his performance, game strategy and his love equation with Australian model Lucinda Nicolas. He was also one of the first contestants on the show to have won the ticket to finale. As one of the strongest contestants on the show, Baseer was applauded by his fans from across the country.
