'It's Just Not Fair': Mahhi Vij Slams Trolls For Accusing Her Of 'Abandoning' Her Adopted Kids

Mahhi Vij penned a long post to call out the trolls, who accused her of neglecting and abandoning her adopted children.

Popular TV actress Mahhi Vij shared a long note on social media to slam the trolls for questioning her parenting and accusing her of ‘abandoning’ her adopted children Khushi and Rajveer. The ‘Balika Vadhu’ star, who has adopted her caretaker’s kids, posted the note to put an end to the assumptions and questions about her children.

She clarified that her foster kids Khushi and Rajveer are currently staying in their hometown as their parents want them to spend time with their loved ones. The ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ actress, who welcomed her first biological child in August 2019, said that she and her husband Jay Bhanushali still love their other children like before.

"A lot of you have been questioning, a lot of you have been assuming, a lot of you have been writing anything and everything and it’s just NOT Fair! Yes we are parents, Foster Parents! Tara entered our lives as a beautiful blessing but that doesn't change our feelings for Khushi and Rajveer. When Khushi came into our lives, we became parents but a part of us knows that the decisions and the first rights belong to her father and mother. They had always wanted the kids to spend some time in Mumbai but eventually return to their hometown and be with their extended family and grandparents. And we feel that there is no one who can judge what is better for a child, than their parents" the post read. 

Vij further said that she and Jay have stayed in touch with their adopted kids via video calls and messages. “Our video calls and frequent exchange of messages keep us close to them and that's a decision which none of us have a right to interfere in, Mahhi added.

Aashka Goradia, Bhumika Gurung and other TV celebs dropped comments on the post. Aashka wrote, "Mahhi, you have a golden and a kind heart. You inspire people, don’t even bother about naysayers." 

"Ignorance is bliss @mahhivij but yeah sometimes u need to give it back. More power to u," Bhumika commented.

Kashmera Shah asked Jay and Mahhi to not explain their action to the haters. The 'Bigg Boss 14' contestant wrote, "My darling Jay and Mahi. You both are loving parents and I have personally seen how much love you gave Khushi and how heartbroken you were that they were being taken to their hometown. You don’t have to EVER explain your actions to anyone least of all these haters."

 

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, who tied the knot in 2011, are the winners of 'Nach Baliye 9'.
