Lag Ja Gale’s Namik Paul And Tanisha Mehta Recreate Iconic Scene From Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

New Delhi: Zee TV aired a drama about an unlikely pair who were pulled together by the strangest circumstances and the dynamics of their families. The daily soap 'Lag Ja Gale', which is set in Delhi, chronicles the lives of two characters: Shiv (Namik Paul), a successful young hotelier, and Ishani (Tanisha Mehta), a dedicated young woman who works various odd jobs as the only income for her middle-class family. 

The narrative will explore how, in spite of numerous misunderstandings and misgivings, the two of them decide to marry for the sake of their siblings.

Tanisha Mehta said, "Within a few days of shooting, Namik and I started bonding with each other really well, and that really helped to pull off our scenes smoothly." But the biggest concern is that because of Namik’s height, every time there is a shot where I am standing next to him, I have to stand on a stool. For scenes that are not close-up shots, I have to wear high heels throughout the sequence. The very first day when we shot together, I was asked to do a scene with him standing on a stool, and that just reminded me of the most popular scenes between Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham where she has to fasten his tie. I believe the resemblance between it and our shoot life is so similar that now I have started enjoying it as I am a big K3G fan. I just hope that the audience loves our on-screen chemistry and showers their love on our show."

The audience will find it fascinating to see how the story unfolds now that Ishani and Shiv have finally met but have taken the wrong first step in their journey.
