Kumkum Bhagya: After Naina Singh, THIS Actress To QUIT Sriti Jha & Shabir Ahluwalia's Show?

The makers of 'Kumkum Bhagya' will soon shot for a special promo to announce the show's comeback.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. The show stars Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia in the respective roles of Pragya and Abhishek. The daily soap has successfully completed over 1600 episodes. We had earlier informed you that the makers of the show have resumed shooting and the fans will soon get to see fresh episodes of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that one of the actresses of the popular Zee TV show has apparently decided to quit it. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Shikha Singh will no longer feature in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. The talented actress gave birth to a baby girl on June 16 in Mumbai. Shikha and her husband Karan Shah are on cloud nine since the arrival of a little bundle of joy into their lives. She gave a glimpse of her newborn daughter and revealed her name- Alyana. Shikha needs a break and wants to spend time with her baby girl. She has already informed the production house about her decision to bid adieu to the show, the report in Tellychakkar said.

Naina Singh, who played the role of Sriti and Shabir’s on-screen daughter Rhea in the show, also said goodbye to the show in February. She was reportedly unhappy with the way her character was shaping up.

Ekta Kapoor launched ‘Kundali Bhagya’, the spin-off of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, owing the popularity of the parent show. The makers of the show are planning to shoot a special promo to announce their return to the TV screens. The cast of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ will shoot a combine promo to announce their comeback on Zee TV.  The promo is expected to be shot next week. "The cast of Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya will be shooting a special promo together and on the other hand, Tujhse Hai Raabta team will shoot with Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega for the same. The promo will be shot next week and all the cast and crew members are pretty excited," a source told Pinkvilla. Watch this space for more updates!
