Khatron Ke Khiladi 9: Vikas Gupta gets bitten by a snake; Aditya Narayan suffers eye injury

The shooting for Colors TV’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 is going on in full swing in Argentina. The popular reality show will hit the airwaves on the channel after the culmination of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 12. Rohit Shetty has once again donned the hat of the host for KKK 9. The ‘Simmba’ director has been quite vocal about taking proper precautions before performing a stunt on the show. Considering it’s a stunt based show, contestants often get injured but it seems this year things are going too well. We had earier reported that Vikas Gupta and Zain Imam suffered minor injuries while performing their stunts. A report in a leading daily suggested that singer Aditya Narayan has been injured while Bigg Boss 11 finalist Vikas Gupta has been bitten by a snake. “The team is currently shooting in Argentina. And unlike other seasons, it seems this time the crew is finding it difficult to ensure proper safety measures for all the contestants. While performing the stunts, some participants like actor-singer Aditya Narayan and producer as well as Bigg Boss 11 finalist Vikas Gupta have been injured,” a sourc told DNA. Aditya was rushed to the hospital when he fell while performing a stunt, thus injuring his eye, the report said. Vikas was bitten by a python when he tried to save co-contestant Bharti Singh. This is quite shocking!

“During one of the stunts, Aditya fell and injured his eye. He was rushed to the hospital and has been advised a week’s rest. On another instance, a python was going to attack contestant Bharti Singh. Vikas tried to save her and was bitten by the snake. He was given a few injections and has been asked to take some time out to recover,” the source further told the daily. This is the first time in the history of Khatron Ke Khiladi  that mishaps like this have taken place. Rohit Shetty is said to be unhappy with the unfortunate incidents taking place on the show. He was miffed when these accidents took place in KKK 9, the report said. The show’s team has ensured extra safety for all the participants, keeping in mind the mishappenings. “Rohit is not at all happy with whatever has happened. He was fuming when these accidents took place, but the situation is currently under control. The team has ensured  extra safety for all the contestants,” the source told the daily.

“Khatron Ke Khiladi is a daredevil- stunt-based reality show. These things keep happening and the contestants have to fight their fears. But all safety measures are in place now. There are no problems with the shoot,’’ an insider working on the show added. We wish Aditya Narayan and Vikas Gupta a speedy recovery and wish such mishaps don’t take place in KKK 9.
