Mumbai: It’s hard to believe that a talented artist like Sidharth Shukla is no more. The ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame actor left for his heavenly abode on September 2 after suffering a heart attack. His untimely demise sent shockwaves across the Hindi film and TV industry. 

Shehnaaz Gill, who shared a close bond with Sidharth, has refrained for making a public appearance post his death. Her brother Shehbaz Badesha comforted her during the last rites of the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner as she was crying inconsolably.  

Kavita Kaushik Asks Shehnaaz To Come Back Like A 'Tigress'

TV actress Kavita Kaushik shared a post on her official Twitter handle, asking Shehnaaz to stay strong. She mentioned about Shehnaaz’s upcoming film, which is titled ‘Honsla Rakh’. The ‘FIR’ star said that she would buy the ticket of Gill’s movie and watch it on the silver screen. 

“Wishing you all the strength and love. @ishehnaaz_gill, come back like a tigress and make him proud! I will buy a ticket and watch you on the big screen, it’s like God's screenplay that your next is called 'Honsla rakh’. Everyone is with you kudiye sach Honsla rakh,” Kavita wrote on the micro-blogging site. 

The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant also said that everyone is there for Shehnaaz and she should not lose hope. Check out her tweet! 

Will Shehnaaz Resume Shoot For Honsla Rakh? 

The self-proclaimed ‘Punjab ki Katrina Kaif’ will be seen sharing screen-space with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in ‘Honsla Rakh’. According to a report in ETimes, the makers were supposed to shoot a new song on September 15 in London. However, they had to scrap the plans as Gill is still recovering from the loss.  

Producer Dijit Thind, while talking to the portal, said that he would finalise a new date soon. He told ETimes that he is in touch with Shehnaaz’s manager and is hoping that she will contact him.  

Shehnaaz and Sidharth grabbed several eyeballs during their stint in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Their fans fondly called them ‘SidNaaz’. Last month, the duo appeared together in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane 3’ as special guests. Shukla and Gill also worked together in few music videos.
