KBC 15: Contestant Asks Amitabh Bachchan Not To Use Social Media At 2 AM, The Actor Asks ‘I Am Doing Something Wrong?’

During the 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' episode aired on Tuesday (August 15), a contestant advised the show host Amitabh Bachchan not to use social media so late at night.

New Delhi: The 15th season of the game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' premiered on Monday (August 14). During the episode aired on Tuesday (August 15), a contestant advised the show host Amitabh Bachchan not to use social media so late at night. The megastar is quite active on social media and often tweets and blogs late at night.

During the Tuesday episode, contestant Dhimahi Trivedi, a table tennis player, was on the hot seat. During a conversation, Amitabh Bachchan asked her how she balances sports and studies.

She replied, “I only give my whole day’s 30 mins to social media and the rest to my family.” Dhimahi then went on to ask the actor about his social media use and asked how he balances work life and social media. She said, “I often see you posting at 2 am. You shouldn’t stay awake for such long hours or you would get dark circles.” The host the asked, “Am I doing something wrong?” to which she replied, “No. But you must take care of yourself too.”

Amitabh Bachchan is regular on social media and tweets and blogs every day, usually late at night.

Meanwhile, the 15th edition of the game show has added fresh elements into the show. One of the new additions to the show is the introduction of the ‘Super Sandook’, which allows the contestant to revive what has been lost.  Along with a video call a friend and Audience Poll, a new lifeline called ‘Double Dip’ has been added to the format, and this season also brings back the Fastest Finger First feature.

Before the premiere, talking about the show, Amitabh Bachchan said in a statement, “Kaun Banega Crorepati has always been gyaandaar, dhandaar and shaandaar, but in its 15th season, we will be ushering in a new beginning – representing an evolving India, its aspirations and its citizens who dream big. This show has become an integral part of my life. It’s a platform for me to connect with audiences - both inside the studio as well as those watching the show from the comfort of their homes. I am really looking forward to welcoming and interacting with contestants from different walks of life who are such a huge inspiration not only to me but also to those who want to be the change and fulfill their ambitions with the power of knowledge.”

'Kaun Banega Crorepati' airs every Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
