'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' To Go Off Air If Ekta Kapoor Doesn't Find Parth Samthaan's 'Worthy Replacement'?

'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' lead Parth Samthaan has reportedly quit the show to focus on his health and other upcoming projects.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has been become the talk of the town ever since the news of Parth Samthaan leaving the show hit the internet. Parth, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in ‘KZK 2’, has reportedly quit the show as he wants to focus on his health and upcoming projects. The talented actor recently resumed shooting after recovering from COVID-19. The news of his exit from the show has left the fans surprised. Speculations were also rife that show’s female lead Erica Fernandes would also say goodbye to ‘Kasautii 2’. However, the actress has squashed all the rumours and said that she is not leaving the show. According to a report in a leading daily, Ekta Kapoor is trying her best to convince Parth to change his decision. She has approached several known names including Zain Imam, Vijayendra Kumeria, Barun Sobti. Talks are also on with the likes of Aashim Gulati, Harshad Chopda and Vishal Aditay Singh, the report said. If the report in the daily is to be believed, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ might go off air if Ekta Kapoor doesn’t find a suitable replacement. Yes, you read that right. “Parth has found a huge following and Anurag is an iconic character. Ekta is clear that if he doesn’t stay and she can’t find a worthy replacement, she will end the show,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

The report further said that Ekta Kapoor even roped in a third person to persuade Parth to stay. However, the ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaarian’ actor is not keen to change his decision. “Recently, she even roped in a third person known to both to help her convince Parth to continue with the show. But he is not keen,” the source told the daily.

‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has seen two major replacements over the past one year. Hina Khan, who played the role of Komolika left the show in 2019 to focus on her other commitments. She was replaced by Aamna Sharif as the new Komolika. Karan Singh Grover quit ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ as he didn’t wish to return to the sets amid the COVID-19 crisis. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ fame Karan Patel stepped into KSG’s shoes last month.
