New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has been hogging all the limelight ever since the news of the show going off air hit the internet. The romantic saga featuring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes has grabbed several eyeballs when the reports of the lead stars leaving the show spread like wildfire. While Erica aka Prerna squashed all the rumours, Parth didn’t make any official announcement. It was rumoured that Parth aka Anurag Basu has quit the show to focus on his health and other upcoming projects. Some reports suggested that the makers have managed to convince Parth to change his decision. It was also said that the ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaarian’ actor will shoot for only five days a week and his remuneration would also see a rise. Gossip mills were buzzing with the rumours that ‘Kasautii 2’ will be shifted to an early evening or late night time slot. Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ was said to replace the popular show at 8pm slot. Speculations about the fate of ‘Kasautii 2’ have been rife for quite some time now. We had earlier informed you that the makers are planning to wrap up the show by the first week of October 2020. As per the latest buzz, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ will go off air in November 2020. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in a leading daily, the love story of Anurag and Prerna will bid adieu to viewers in next two months. The show will wrap up on November 3 and the makers are working on their script to give the fans a happy ending, the report in Times Of India said.

The first season of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay featuring Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan ran for seven long years and dominated the 8:30pm slot. The second season will complete two successful years on September 25, 2020. ‘KZK 2’ also stars Aamna Sharif and Karan Patel in key roles. Stay tuned for more updates!
