Karan Singh Grover aka Mr. Bajaj is rumoured to be getting paid a whopping amount for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s reboot version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has won the hearts of the viewers, all thanks to its drama-packed episodes. The romantic saga starring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan has done quite well in terms of TRPs. After Hina Khan aka Komolika’s exit, the makers are all set to introduce the character of Mr. Bajaj. Karan Singh Grover will step into the shoes of Ronit Roy and play the new Mr. Bajaj. Star Plus has unveiled the introductory promo of Mr. Bajaj and Karan will make his entry on Monday (June 17) in an one hour special episode of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. Check out the promo!

Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Karan Singh Grover is being paid a whopping amount for ‘Kasautii 2’. The ‘Qubool Hai’ actor is taking home a fee of Rs 3 lakh per day for the popular TV show. Speculations were earlier rife that KSG was apprehensive about returning back to the small screen due to long shooting hours. However, it is now being said that the ‘Hate Story 3’ actor has decided to make a comeback to TV as his wishes have been fulfilled by Ekta Kapoor.

A report in a portal has suggested that Karan Singh Grover will take home a hefty amount of Rs 75 lakh for his stint in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. “Ekta Kapoor had to work hard to convince Karan to work for the show. It was not that Karan did not want to do this show but he was confused about returning to acting on the small screen. But Ekta considered him the best choice for Mr. Bajaj’s role. When Karan told Ekta he would charge Rs 3 lakh per day she readily agreed,” a source told DBpost. “With this fee, Karan sought to work for 12 hours a day for 25 days in a month,” the source further said. Interestingly, Hina Khan was rumoured to be the highest paid actor on ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress was said to be charging Rs 2.25 lakh per episode.
