Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Ekta Kapoor wanted Ronit Roy to play Mr. Bajaj again.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers, all thanks to its entertaining episodes. The romantic saga starring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan is not only creating waves on social media but also doing quite well in terms of TRPs. Popular TV celebs including Siddharth Shukla, Karan Wahi, Iqbal Khan and Hiten Tejwani were in contention to play the role of Mr. Bajaj in ‘Kasautii 2’. It was even said that Karan Wahi has bagged the role; however, new reports suggested that Karan Singh Grover has been finalized to play the iconic character. Now, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Kasautii’s original Mr. Bajaj was Ekta Kapoor’s first choice to play the role of Mr. Bajaj. The TV czarina reportedly wanted the actor to reprise his role again. Ronit's Roy age is close to what Mr Bajaj's age is ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and therefore, Ekta Kapoor really wanted him to play the role once again. The actor was keen to reprise his role but he couldn’t give his nod because of his prior work commitments including a movie, the report in Pinkvilla. "Gosh, why didn't anybody call me before publishing this. But listen, did they mix me up with my brother, Rohit? It is certainly not true," Ronit told SpotboyE.
