Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: After Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes To QUIT Ekta Kapoor's Show?

Gossip mill suggest that 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' lead Erica Fernandes might follow Parth Samthaan's footsteps and quit the show.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ is hogging all the limelight since yesterday after the news of Parth Samthaan quitting the show hit the internet. Ardent fans of the show are disappointed as they don’t want their favourite actor to leave ‘Kasautii 2’. Parth Samthaan has reportedly given his notice period to the production house and he is expected to shoot for his last episode in the second week of September 2020. The ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ actor wants to focus on his health and other upcoming projects, a report in Pinkvilla said. For the uninitiated, Parth tested positive for COVID-19 last month. He observed self-quarantine after getting diagnosed with novel Coronavirus. The TV heartthrob recently resumed shooting after recovering from COVID-19. Viewers were quite excited to see back but their happiness didn’t last long as the rumours of him leaving the show spread like wildfire on social media.

According to a report in a news channel, Erica Fernandes is also planning to quit ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The actress, who plays the role of Prerna, has also recently resumed shooting for ‘KZK 2’. She was shooting for the show from her home as a precautionary measure. Erica Fernandes is also leaving the show for better prospects, sources told India TV. The makers are yet to confirm the viewers.

Interestingly, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has witnessed two big replacements in the past one year. Hina Khan, who played the role of Komolika, was replaced by Aamna Sharif. Hina, currently seen in ‘Naagin 5’, had left the show for her other work commitments. Karan Singh Grover had joined ‘Kasautii 2’ in June 2019. His entry created a lot of buzz and even grabbed headlines. He left the show in October 2019, only to return earlier this year. However, his second innings was short-lived as he quit the show due to the COVID-19 crisis. The ‘Qubool Hai’ actor was not willing to shoot for the show amid the Coronavirus pandemic. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ fame Karan Patel stepped into his KSG’s shoes and is playing the new Mr. Bajaj. ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, which airs on Star Plus, was launched on September 25, 2018. The romantic saga is known for Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes’ sizzling chemistry. As of late, the show has witnessed a big drop in its TRPs.
