New Delhi: Popular TV actor Parth Samthaan is getting appreciated from the viewers for his performance as Anurag Basu in Star Plus’ ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The romantic saga co-starring Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan is doing a good job in terms of TRPs. Parth’s chemistry with co-star Erica has helped ‘Kasautii 2’ grab several eyeballs. Before winning the hearts of fans as Anurag, Parth played the role of Manik Malhotra opposite Niti Tayor in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’. The show was quite a hit amongst youngest and Samthaan became quite popular after essaying the spoilt and young brat in ‘KYY’. Parth shared a close bond with his ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ co-star Charlie Chauhan and latter even defended Samthaan during his fiasco with Vikas Gupta. The actress was even quoted as saying in an interview that she would remain friends with Parth forever. However, gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that their friendship has taken a hit. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Charlie and Parth’s friendship has gone kaput. When asked what Parth had to say about writings, Charlie gave a cryptic answer. “Why will Parth comment on my poetry? And why will I ask for his feedback? I mean, I have asked my close friends’ opinions, that’s it. Why will I ask my co-actors?,” Charlie told IWMBuzz. Considering their friendship and strong bond, we are a little surprised. When asked if the two were not friends once upon a time, the MTV Roadies 7 contestant told the portal, “No, that was because we used to work on the same set and everyone was as close as him. So ya normally like you get along with your co-actors, it was exactly the same”. (Source- Instagram) Parth and Charlie were also part of the youth show ‘Best Friends Forever’ on Channel V.
