New Delhi: International cricket legends Brett Lee and Chirs Gayle will soon be seen on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' in the upcoming weekend episode. Makers shared a new promo of the show on their official social media handle giving fans a sneak peak into what the show has in store. The two cricketers are seen greeting the audience with namaste and speaking in Hindi. They also seem to have a great time during the show.
While Breet Lee sports a white shirt with beige trousers, Chris Gayle opts for a funky purple suit. In the promo clip, when Kapil Sharma asked the two cricketers, who have appeared on the show before, if they missed Navjot Singh Sidhu. To this, Chris instantly said, "No I am not.” His reply left Archana cheering for him and she is even seen getting half-way up from her chair while doing so. Archana Puran Singh replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu as the chair on the comedy show.
Brett Lee added, “It is much better looking at sundar ladki (pretty woman),” and pointed at Archana Puran Singh. To this, Kapil Sharma jokingly added, "After retirement you started flirting also.”
In another instance, Kapil Sharma is seen asking Brett Lee if he ever thought of abusing Chris Gayle when he scored 27 runs in 2009 T20 World Cup during his over. To this, the Australian cricketer said, "Hundred percent."
Soon after the promo video was shared by Sony TV's Instagram account, fans flooded the comments section sharing their excitement about the upcoming episode. A fan wrote, "Happy to see both the legends Gayle-Lee sitting together. Both are respectful of each other. Lovely.” “Namaste was good,” added another one.

Earlier, Brett Lee had shared a picture with Kapil Sharma and promised to share his 'Sydney beer' the next time they meet. Brett Lee had captioned the picture, "Great to see you today @KapilSharmaK9 ! Had a great time filming with you." Kapil replied in the comments, "It was a pleasure to have you back on our show sir, was great fun, I love your humor, you n @henrygayle made it super funny with your presence, thank you love and best wishes always."
The previous week on 'The Kapil Sharma Show', Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal were seen promoting their film 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' which has released in theatres on June 2, 2023.
