JANMASHTAMI 2017: This is how Tv celebs greet Kanha "Happy Birthday"
Krishna is one of the most popular and revered of gods in the Hindu pantheon. He is a favorite deity for many and hence this celebration has a lot of significance in telly people's life too. Telly celeb are no less to show their love for Lord Krishna. They pray to Lord Krishna on this day and seek his blessings for a happy and good life. They also are part of long queues outside Lord Krishna's temples on the day of Janmashtami and everybody sings praises of Lord Krishna on this holy day. Here Telly Celeb shares about how they enjoy and greet to Lord a very Happy Birthday.
Kunal Jaisingh: Krishna, for Hindus, is a hero, a charmer, protector, a leader, a friend, a guide and a teacher. His birthday celebrated as Janmashtami is always special. I greet him 'Happy birthday' with my prayers. On the day we also remember his tales and enjoy his learning to always be kind.
Suyyash Rai: Krishna is believed to be the incarnation of Vishnu and is often portrayed mischievous small child eating butter or as a young boy playing flute, as prankster and young man with his lover Radha. His life is actually inspiring to all age group from a small kid to old man. On the day I visit temple to greet him a 'Happy birthday'
Shrenu Parikh: I greet kahna 'Happy birthday' by offering my prayers. We celebrate it at home performing the abhishek ceremony by bathing the idol of kanha with ghee, honey, yogurt, honey, fruit juices and holy water. Manish Goplani: Janmashtami is celebrated in a unique way all around, I love going to temple for greeting him a 'Happy Birthday' also love to watch people celebrating by hanging dahi handi high above the ground. People form a human pyramid to break the dahi handi, basically an earthen pot filled with curd, milk, water and fruits. The people who form the human pyramid are called govindas. Dahi Handi celebrates the mischievous and playful side of Krishna.
Aparna Dixit: Janmashtami is the day when Bal Krishna is worshipped. A naughty baby who would exasperate his mother no end, Krishna has been a charmer since childhood and known to win the hearts of everyone he meets. For the day I love distributing gifts to small kids and take their blessing. And worship Lord greeting him 'Happy Birthday' with my prayers.

I always call at home that time while my mom keeps the phone in speaker near the lord and I greet him a 'Happy birthday'

Parineeta Borthakur: I celebrate lord' birthday at home with faithful devotion. I fast on that day, and make dinner prasad, which I offer to my Krishna then serve everyone at home. I buy new clothes for my Krishna and decorate his 'jhoola.' I also make a birthday cake for him which I cut at 12pm singing 'Happy birthday'. I don't know the rituals, but I do everything with all my Love.
Soni Singh: We all love celebrating Birthdays and when It is our favorite Lord Krishna Birthday, it has to be special. Janamashtami celebrations are not limited to fasting and then feasting at night. We can much more do to celebrate the day. I use to earlier dress my niece like baby gopal and now we have nephew at our home how is really very adorable and its his first Janamashtami so I'm gonna make him lord Krishna. I am really excited about it.
