Arshiya Sharma, a young girl from Jammu and Kashmir, left the judges of the talent hunt show 'America's Got Talent' awestruck in the recent episode.
Arshiya Sharma, a 13-year-old girl from Jammu and Kashmir, left the judges of the talent hunt show 'America's Got Talent' awestruck by her dance moves. The teenage dancer from India appeared in the 19th season, which premiered on May 28. The judges gave her a standing ovation for her eerie dance number in the recent episode of AGT 2024.

Arshiya Sharma shared a video of her dance performance in a recent Instagram post. Before taking the stage of America's Got Talent 2024, Arshiya never took a plane out of India.
In the widely shared video, she introduces herself to the judges. She said, “I am from Jammu and Kashmir, India. I am a dancer, but I don’t want to be like others. I want to be different. So, I tried incorporating gymnastics and adding some flexible moves into my dance to stand out.”
She took approval to prep for her dance from the AGT judges, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara. Arshiya turned into a terrifying ghost during the performance, showcasing her gymnastics and dancing techniques.

After the performance ended, Heidi praised her and said, “When you said you were going to leave and come back with a change, I thought you would return in a pretty dress, but what I saw was something else entirely.” Simon further pointed out, “I thought you were going to come back and do something like Disney or something sweet, but you left us blank, which was unexpected and brilliant at the same time.”
Before appearing on the show, Arshiya Sharma featured on Indian dance shows like DID Little Masters and Super Dancer 4.
