'Ishqbaaaz', 'Silsila 2' Actor Kunal Jaisingh To Play LEAD In Ekta Kapoor's Next?

TV actor Kunal Jaisingh, who was last seen playing lead role in Voot's 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 2', in talks to play lead role in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming family drama!

TV actor Kunal Jaisingh became a household name after playing the role of 'Omkara Singh Oberoi' in Nakuul Mehta & Surbhi Chandna starrer 'Ishqbaaaz'. The talented actor moved out of 'Ishqbaaaz' in 2018 & he's on a break from TV since then. While Kunal was last seen playing lead role in Voot's 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka' opposite Tejasswi Prakash & Aneri Vajani, his fans are waiting desperately for his TV comeback. And, here comes good news for them! As per the latest buzz, Kunal Jaisingh might soon be back on small-screen as he has been approached to play lead role in Ekta Kapoor's next. Yes, you read that right!

While the actor is yet sign on the dotted line, things might get finalised soon. Speaking about the show, a source informs a leading daily that, "This will be a family drama and the makers are keen on casting Kunal in the lead." 'Ishqbaaaz' Fame Ankit Siwach Set To Marry Girlfriend Next Month! The source further told TOI that, "He was earlier approached for the central character in Ekta’s ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ and had even auditioned for it. While Ekta liked his audition, the deal couldn’t materialise as Kunal had some prior commitments. However, she remembered his performance and her team approached Kunal as soon as the team started brainstorming over the cast of the new show. Talks are still at a nascent stage, and the actor and the production house are discussing the remuneration. We are hoping for the deal to be locked soon." Ekta & Kunal are yet to react on the same.
