Drugs Case: Television Actor Gaurav Dixit Sent To NCB Custody Till Aug 30

New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Television actor Gaurav Dixit on Friday (August 27, 2021) after a conducting a search at his residence. The officials recovered MD and Charas during the raid after his name came to fore during an interrogation of ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant Ajaz Khan.

Now, according to the latest report, the actor has been sent to NCB custody till August 30, 2021. A report of ANI reads, “TV actor Gaurav Dixit sent to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till 30th August. He was arrested by NCB yesterday after MD and Charas were recovered from his residence in a raid. He was arrested in connection with the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan.”

The ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant Ajaz Khan was arrested by the NCB earlier this year in the month of March. The federal agency recovered banned drugs from his residence and his name popped up while questioning Shadab Batata, who is one of the most notorious drug peddlers. Shadab also got arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Meanwhile, in the alleged Bollywood drugs case, the NCB has arrested many peddlers while unraveling the drugs angle in the film industry. The angle of drugs came up while investigating the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Several celebrities including comedienne Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa was also arrested in the alleged drugs case. Celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal and others were also summoned by the investigating agency to appear before them for questioning in the case.
