Dolly Sohi Death: 'Jhanak' Actress Dies Of Cervical Cancer Within 24 Hours Of Sister Amandeep Sohi's Death

Dolly's brother, Mannu, revealed to ABP News that the actress had been diagnosed with cervical cancer six months ago, and since then, she had been undergoing treatment.

New Delhi: Renowned film and television actress Dolly Sohi passed away after battling cervical cancer. She breathed her last at Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai at 4 am today.

Dolly's brother, Mannu, revealed to ABP News that the actress had been diagnosed with cervical cancer six months ago, and since then, she had been undergoing treatment. Due to her illness and chemotherapy, Dolly had to leave the TV serial "Jhanak" midway.

Dolly leaves behind her 14-year-old daughter, Amelia.

Amandeep Sohi Death

In a tragic turn of events, Dolly Sohi's actor sister, Amandeep Sohi, has also passed away recently after suffering from jaundice. Mannu shared that while Dolly succumbed to cervical cancer, Amandeep had been undergoing treatment for jaundice at Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai for the past month.

Confirming the deaths of both sisters within a short span of time, Mannu informed ABP News that the final rites for both sisters would be performed in Navi Mumbai today afternoon.

The simultaneous loss of both Dolly and Amandeep Sohi has left their family and the entertainment industry in shock and mourning. Their contributions to Indian cinema and television will be remembered fondly.
