Disha Parmar All Set To Return To 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain 3' With A New Role
Disha will be returning to play a completely new character though her name will continue to be Priya in the show.
New Delhi: Disha Parmar is all set to return to the third season of 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain 3'. The actor had quit 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2' in January 2023. However, now Disha will be returning to play a completely new character though her name will continue to be Priya in the show. Disha told ETimes in an interaction that she had no plans of returning to the show until recently.
When she was asked if quitting the show and coming back was part of the plan, she told ETimes, " No, when I quit 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2' in December 2022, I had no idea that I would be back on the show. The show was over for me and I was hoping to do something completely different. Also, I like to take a break after every show, and wanted to use the time to travel and spend time with family. But, it seems the makers had a plan and the role sounded good and I felt if it was my show earlier, why not come back to it again? It is a finite show, so it is not something that will go on years."
Disha also shared that she is glad that audiences have now accepted the show for what it is and have stopped comparing it to the original show starring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. She told the publication, "We were anyway never close to what Ram and Sakshi played in the earlier season of 'BAde Ache'. Of course, people would make comparisons initially, but later viewers loved watching us. I am glad that phase is over and now we are headed for a new fresh innings."
The actor also admitted not having seen the show post the leap. She shared, " When I take a break, I shut myself off completely. So, I didn't get a chance to watch the show after the leap. I have no idea about other shows. I am the wrong person to ask about whether the show was great or not."
Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta headlined ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain Season 2’ and were loved for their chemistry on the daily soap.
