CONFIRMED: THIS 'Kundali Bhagya' Actor Joins Ekta Kapoor's 'Naagin 5'

Ekta Kapoor's much-awaited 'Naagin 5' will soon go on air on Colors channel.

New Delhi: TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Naagin 5’ ever since the makers announced the project. Fans are excited to know who will play the lead in the new season of ‘Naagin’. Speculations were rife that Hina Khan and Dheeraj Dhoopar will be seen in initial episodes of the upcoming show. It was said that the makers have roped the two popular stars to play pivotal roles in the show. Dheeraj Dhoopar, who plays the role of Karan in ‘Kundali Bhagya’, has now confirmed that he is part of ‘Naagin 5’. The talented actor is quite excited to join the ‘Naagin’ franchise as he has never done a role like this before. “This is an extremely exciting time for me. To act in a show like Naagin, which enjoys such a rich legacy and is the top show on television, is a dream for any actor. I am a huge fan of the show, and I am thrilled about the part because it is unlike anything I have ever played before. There are always a lot of incredible VFX used in Naagin, and it will be a whole new experience for me because I have never done that kind of a role before. It will be great to work with Ekta Kapoor and be associated with COLORS again!,” Dheeraj said in a statement.

Interestingly, Dheeraj played the lead role of Prem Bharadwaj in Colors TV's 'Sasural Simar Ka' opposite Dipika Kakar. 'Naagin 5' will be his third show with the channel after 'SSK' and 'Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg'.

A picture of Hina Khan in her 'naagin' avatar went viral on social media. The first look of Hina as a 'naagin' created a lot of buzz on the internet. After playing the role of Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', the 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress is rumoured to be seen in a positive role.
