Bigg Boss 18: 'Naagin' Actress Nia Sharma Confirmed For Salman Khan's Reality Show

Rohit Shetty revealed Nia Sharma as Bigg Boss 18's first confirmed contestant at the 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' grand finale.

New Delhi: The first candidate for the forthcoming season of ‘Bigg Boss’ will be television actress Nia Sharma, who is known for her appearances in ‘Naagin’ and other acclaimed TV shows. Salman Khan will be back as host for the 18th season of the popular reality show, set to launch on October 6th. During the grand finale of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14’, host Rohit Shetty confirmed Nia's participation in BB 18, ending speculations surrounding her entry.

This major announcement was made by Rohit Shetty before the premiere of ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Rohit invited Nia Sharma and Bharti Singh to join him on stage during KKK 14's episode. Bharti and Nia were part of the hilarious cooking program ‘Laughter Chefs’. They put Rohit Shetty's culinary skills to the test during ‘KKK’ finale. Later, he made an exciting revelation that Nia would be the first confirmed contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Everyone offered their best wishes to Nia after the announcement.

After the news, Nia asked Abhishek Kumar, a former participant in Bigg Boss and KKK 14, to send her best wishes. Abhishek responded by promising to vote for her and reassuring her of his support.

Nia Sharma had previously denied being a part of the show, saying, "I don't know how my name started appearing everywhere but I don't entertain such news," as quoted by PTI. 

About ‘Bigg Boss 18’

Regarding Bigg Boss 18, the theme is "time ka tandav," which implies that the show will center on the participants' goals for the future. On October 6th, at 9 PM, Salman Khan will be back to host the reality program that will air on Colors TV (streaming on JioCinema). Avinash Mishra, Shehzada Dhami, Muskan Bamne, Nyrraa Banerji, and Shoaib Ibrahim are among the possible contestants for the season.
