Bigg Boss 18: How much will the winner walk away with?

As per a Mint report, this season’s prize money remains at Rs 50 lakh, the same amount that stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui took home after winning Bigg Boss 17. The winner will also receive an all-gold trophy, complementing the luxurious aesthetics of the Bigg Boss house.

However, over the show’s 18-season history, the prize money has seen significant fluctuations. In the first five seasons, winners like Rahul Roy, Ashutosh Sharma, Vindu Dara Singh, Shweta Tiwari, and Juhi Parmar walked away with Rs 1 crore. The amount later saw a dip, with the lowest being Rs 25 lakh in Bigg Boss 8, won by Gautam Gulati. Other seasons had varying cash prizes: Dipika Kakkar (Bigg Boss 12) won Rs 30 lakh, Sidharth Shukla (Bigg Boss 13) bagged Rs 50 lakh, Tejasswi Prakash (Bigg Boss 15) took home Rs 40 lakh, and MC Stan (Bigg Boss 16) walked away with Rs 31.8 lakh.
