New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss 16' contestant Archana Gautam was on Wednesday expelled from the house after a physical fight with another contestant Shiv Thakare.  

The promo shared by Colors shows a heated conversation between Archana and Shiv. Shiv made personal remarks against Archana, and the fight further escalated when Archana retaliated. Archana lost his temper and grabbed Shiv’s neck. Shalin Bhanot, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are then seen protesting and demanding her eviction from the show. 

After the fight, both were summoned to the confession room and Shiv was asked by Bigg Boss to take a decision. Shiv decided to get Archana evicted from the house. Archana cried and pleaded that she doesn’t want to go but Shiv didn’t change his decision. 

Now there are reports that Archana will soon be brought back to the show. She is likely to be reintroduced by Salman Khan on the shoot on Friday. 

Archana is one of the most entertaining contestants this season. Soon after the news of her eviction, #BringBack Archana was trending on Twitter. One user wrote, “shiv Insitagates, nirmit always needs a group to be in to play the game, I don't know why does tina thinks she is hina khan of some sort? shalin is really bad at acting archana was the reason I was watching this absolute failure season. BRING BACK ARCHANA #ArchanaGautam.” 

Another user tweeted, “#ArchanaGautam the only contestant jisne #ShivThakare𓃵 ko more banaya...guts to hai. Akeli ladki sab par bhari.. #NimritKaurAhluwalia and #shalinbanot dono ney bas topper #ArchanaGautam ko bahar nikala hai. Archana we all want u to be the Queen of #BB16 Bring Back Archana.” 

This is not the first time a contestant has been evicted from the show due to physical violence. Kushal Tandon was evicted in the seventh season after he almost attacked VJ Andy. In the eighth season, Puneet Issar was eliminated after he got physical with Aarya Babbar. Both of the contestants had made a re-entry into the show after a while. In 'Bigg Boss 13', Madhurima Tuli was expelled after she struck Vishal Aditya Singh with a frying pan. Kamaal R Khan was also evicted in the third season after he hurled a bottle at his fellow contestant Rohit Verma.   

'Bigg Boss 16’ airs every Monday to Friday at 10.00 PM and every Saturday – Sunday at 9.30 PM on Colors.
