New Delhi: The makers of Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’ are gearing up for a new season. After a blockbuster season thirteen, Colors TV and Endemol are hoping to re-create the magic once again. TV’s heartthrob Sidharth Shukla, who is fondly known for playing the role of Shiv in ‘Balika Vadhu’, lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ in a star-studded finale earlier this year. The show managed to not only set the TRP charts on fire but also create buzz on social media. We had earlier informed you that the makers have already started approaching celebs for the new season. If a recent report in an entertainment portal is to be believed, they have made an offer to Priyanka Chopra’s alleged former boyfriend. Yes, you read that right! We are talking about Aseem Merchant, who reportedly dated Priyanka Chopra during her modeling days. Gossip mills suggest that their relationship didn’t last long and they decided to part ways after PeeCee joined Bollywood. Aseem Merchant has been approached for ‘Bigg Boss 14’ and he has shown interest, the report in Tellychakkar said. Aseem, who started his career as a model, has also worked in films like ‘Wanted’, ‘Bhaag Johny’ and ‘Singh Saab The Great’. He was embroiled in controversy after he announced that he would make a film on Priyanka Chopra's former manager Prakash Jaju.

The likes of Vivian Dsena, Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Akanksha Puri have also been approached for 'Bigg Boss 14'. The new season is expected to hit the airwaves in the next two months.
