Bharti Singh's Old Tweet On 'Drugs' Goes Viral After Her Arrest; To Be Presented Before Court On Nov 22

Bharti Singh arrested: An old tweet of the comedienne surfaced on social media after the NCB arrested her in drugs case. Here's what she wrote in her tweet!

New Delhi: Popular comedienne Bharti Singh hogged all the limelight on Saturday (November 21) after the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a raid at her house in Mumbai. Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa were summoned by the NCB after the agency reportedly recovered 86.5 grams of Marijuana from their residence during the raid. The drugs law enforcement agency arrested Bharti for allegedly possessing and consuming the drug. According to a report in ANI, Bharti and Harsh confessed that they consumed the drugs. In her tweet, the 36-year-old urged her followers to not consume drugs as they are harmful for health. Fans shared the screenshot of the tweet, which was posted in 2015. "Please stop taking drugs it is harmful to your health," Bharti's tweet read. Several Twitter users took a dig at Bharti for not following what she preached.
According to a report in IANS, Bharti Singh will be presented before the court on November 22. It is yet not clear if she will mark her physical presence or the session will take place via video conferencing. While Bharti has been arrested, the NCB officials are still grilling her husband Harsh as part of their investigation in the alleged Bollywood drugs case, which stemmed from Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The dance reality show will air its grand finale on November 22. The couple got married on December 3, 2017 in Goa in the presence of family members and close friends.
