After Sushant Singh Rajput, Kannada Actor Susheel Gowda Commits Suicide

Actor Susheel Gowda was known for his role in the Kannada soap opera 'Anthapura'. The reason behind his suicide has not been revealed yet.

New Delhi: The untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left everyone teary-eyed. It’s hard to believe that a talented artist like Sushant is no more with us. Actor and fitness trainer Susheel Gowa, who acted in a popular Kannada daily soap, has also ended his life by committing suicide. He passed away at the age of 30 “Susheel Gowda took his own life in his house located in Induvalu, Mandya. His mortal remains have been handed over to the family after post-mortem. An investigation is now underway,” K Parashuram, Mandya Superintendent of Police told Indian Express. Susheel Gowda, who acted in the Kannada show ‘Anthapura’, was all set to make his debut in the film industry. He was played the role of a cop in the upcoming film ‘Salaga’. The film will mark the directorial debut of Duniya Vijay.

Susheel’s ‘Anthapura’ co-star Amita Ranganath  mourned his death and shared a post on her Instagram story. She wrote, “RIP Susheel Gowda. I woke up to this news and it literally left me in a state of shock! U were kind hearted and a good soul! Ur memories while shooting Anthapura will always be cherished.” (Source- Instagram) Aravind Kaushik, who directed 'Anthapura', wrote, "Sad news I heard . Susheel Gowda who played the lead in the tv serial Antahpura that I directed is no more . Rest in Peace."

Actor Dhananjaya, who worked with Susheel in ‘Salaga’, tweeted, “Susheel, don’t know what u were going through, but u had a future.”
